A Different Kind of Partnership

Supply Chain Sustainability

We understand that the products we buy and distribute have an impact on people, society, and the environment and that our sourcing decisions must align with our commitment to sustainability. We have implemented a Sustainable Sourcing Policy that guides our selection of supplier partners, takes into account environmental factors and social responsibility, and aims for continuous improvement to reduce negative effects on human health and the environment.

Environmental Quality

We monitor our annual carbon footprint in CO2e and constantly seek to improve our operations and incorporate environmental considerations into our daily practices. SteriMax’s main contribution to global warming comes from transporting products to our Oakville facility for Canadian patients. We have partnered with a Freight Forwarder that is part of Clean Cargo.

Social Equality

We value our employees and have established policies and strategies to ensure voluntary employment, fairness, and the development of their potential. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment where all employees are free from violence, threats, bullying, discrimination, and harassment. Our No Forced Labor Policy specifically addresses the 11 indicators set by the International Labor Organization (ILO) to identify and address cases of forced labor.

Economic Prosperity

We recognize the importance of a living wage in upholding human dignity, promoting social stability, and enhancing productivity. We are dedicated to ensuring that all workers in our supply chain receive a living wage. This forms part of our supplier evaluation when we look to add new partners to our supply chain.
