Corporate Overview

SteriMax is a privately held, wholly-owned Canadian pharmaceutical company, specializing in the development, production, marketing and distribution of essential hospital and retail pharmacy products to the Canadian healthcare market.

SteriMax was founded by our Chairman and CEO MJ Acharya, in the 90's through a series of strategic alliances. In 2004 the company further solidified its position through the acquisition of five branded products from Novartis.

Our focus is dedicated to the maintenance, promotion and reinvigoration of niche evidence based pharmaceuticals products essential to the Canadian healthcare system but often discontinued by the companies that originate them despite their proven and value and safety.

We are currently promoting eleven products in the Canadian pharmaceutical market, with a focus on sterile injectables. We also market oral solid and nasal spray preparations. There are additional products in our near-term development pipeline that we are planning to launch in North America over the next few years.

By combining the strengths, resources and stability of a large organization with the flexibility and adaptability of a smaller one, SteriMax occupies a unique "space" in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry- where resources and processes are optimized for the marketing and distribution of mature, well-established therapies.
